008 Web Design Intern – UNDP05-08/2024
During my time at UNDP, I have contributed to the UI and UX design of UNDP’s Hero website releases for key monthly publications such as:

June – A ‘Super Year’ for Elections,
July – Keeping the Promise,
August – Built to Last, and
September – Misinformation

I worked under Adam Parker, Senior UX/UI Designer of UNDP, alongside the New York-based AMCG leads of BERA to produce these stories.

006 Carry On: Leaving Home10/2023
Carry On is a body of work on the Asian diaspora. It started off as a photography project to showcase memory objects Asian immigrants brought with them from home, which later evolved into a book to accompany a virtual exhibition that showcases the physical context of each objects.

The virtual exhibition is navigated horizontally to mimic how one navigates a physical exhibition.

005 Musée de l’Occulte05/2023
Branding and Identity for Musée de l’Occulte – a fictional Museum in France dedicated to the rich history of witchcraft and alternative faith in Europe and North America.

The Museum’s identity centered around the Berries of Belladonna – a hallucination agent used by witches in Middle Age Europe. I channeled the shape of the berry into the museum’s logo.

For the color palette: Earthy shades for the berries (and witchcraft by association), hot shades to allude to fire – witchhunting.

Website – Self-developed

003Commercial Website: The Luk Em03/2024
Website re-branding and development for The Luk Em, a Vietnamese fashion brand that prioritizes sustainability and child-like joy in its practice.

My re-design is minimal and more conventional to help new customers navigate the site easily. All content is centered for quick responsiveness and compatibility across different screen sizes.

Among 6 colors in Luk Em’s color palette, I used only white, pink, and purple to foster a sense of cohesiveness and communicate the feelings of “sweet girlhood” and “child-like joy” upon the user’s first interactions.

002 VYVOICE01/2023
Branding and Identity for VYVOICE – an infographic design competition that VYCO, Vietnam Youth4Climate, and UNDP Vietnamorganized.

As co-Head of Design, I proposed a Brutalist approach to communicate bareness, as if to invite competition participants to build upon existing climate change knowledge with their design and research skills.

We used NaN Success Sans from nan.xyz, and VYVOICE Lifeless Grotesk – a custom sans-serif type by Harry Dinh (co-Head of Design) for this particular project.
