I worked under Adam Parker, Senior UX/UI Designer of UNDP, alongside the New York-based AMCG leads of BERA to produce these stories.
In CAPS LOCK, Ruben Pater challenges traditional design education and proposes innovative approaches to navigate the field of graphic and industrial design in the late stages of capitalism.
The virtual exhibition is navigated horizontally to mimic how one navigates a physical exhibition.

My re-design is minimal and more conventional to help new customers navigate the site easily. All content is centered for quick responsiveness and compatibility across different screen sizes.
Among 6 colors in Luk Em’s color palette, I used only white, pink, and purple to foster a sense of cohesiveness and communicate the feelings of “sweet girlhood” and “child-like joy” upon the user’s first interactions.
As co-Head of Design, I proposed a Brutalist approach to communicate bareness, as if to invite competition participants to build upon existing climate change knowledge with their design and research skills.
